Choreographer and director, dancer<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Born in Brno, she graduated from the State Conservatory in Prague in 1977 with an internship in Leningrad, and subsequently worked as a soloist at the Slovak National Theatre in Bratislava. Since 1979, she has danced as a soloist with the National Theatre Ballet in Prague, where she created dozens of leading roles in classical and modern repertoire and regularly performed worldwide. She received prestigious awards at international competitions, including the title of Best European Dancer in Lausanne (1976). Since 1996, she has worked as a ballet master and teacher at the National Theatre, collaborating with leading choreographers such as Ji\u0159\u00ed Kyli\u00e1n. In 2004, she created her own choreographies of Polednice and Carmen for a festival in England.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
